The Young in Fukushima city

Fukushima city, November 2012 - Ayumi Matsudake, 18, high school student and part-time worker in an organic vegetables shop. She learns a lot at the shop about radioactivity and the consequences of the fallout. She can teach afterward to her parents and her family.."I had something else planned the day of the thyroid exam and they overlapped, so I couldn't go. But some friends had the test done, and I was really scared when they said the results showed that something had accumulated in their throat..I want to have children one day, so after being affected by radioactivity, I wonder what effect it may have on my kids. What would I do if they have some disease? That worries me..I took a full body count exam at my school, but I was not told when I will get the results.".As many high school students (even before the disaster), Ayumi will leave the prefecture in 2013 to go study at the university in Sendai, 70km from Fukushima city.
